Original VIBRA - TECHNICS Torque link (Dogbone) bush, small end
Vibra Technics item number: VAG455B
This part replaces the front bush on the Golf MK4 and 5 dog bone link. It has substantially higher load capacity and stiffness to reduce engine movement whilst the double bonded rubber element still isolates engine vibration. It does not have the inherent weakness (creep and permanent set) of some of the unbonded polyurethane inserts that are available on the market.
We also recommend the bolt be upgraded to the later VAG part number N91167101 which is stronger than the bolts used on earlier cars.
Vibra-Technics engine and suspension mounts have been specially developed for high-speed performance, for example motorsports, racing, hill climbs and for sporty driving modes on the road.
With these engine mounts the handling of the vehicle is greatly improved because the engine, by the harder suspension, no longer tends so much. Especially with winding roads is an improvement to perceive.
Vibra-Tech mounts are fully compatible with the original engine mounts!
