Original VIBRA - TECHNICS GEARBOX MOUNT FOR 2WD SIERRA COSWORTH (competition)
Vibra Technics item number: FOR172MX
This mounting is a direct replacement for the OE Ford part. It Bolts to the crossmember and the 'wedge' adaptor plate on the T5 gearbox fits directly into it. This mount will control movement of the gearbox to within a few mm. Some increase in noise transmission to the cabin will be experienced.
Vibra-Technics engine and suspension mounts have been specially developed for high-speed performance, for example motorsports, racing, hill climbs and for sporty driving modes on the road.
With these engine mounts the handling of the vehicle is greatly improved because the engine, by the harder suspension, no longer tends so much. Especially with winding roads is an improvement to perceive.
Vibra-Tech mounts are fully compatible with the original engine mounts!
